Contax G2 Range Finder Camera

Inland Steel Lobby

I just picked up a Contax G2 Range Finder Camera with a 45mm Zeiss F2 planer lens. Here are a few samples I just got back from the lab. The first three photos are studies in light both natural and artificial. The first photo I shot with the camera using Kodak 100asa was Inland Steel Lobby and a Richard Lippold sculpture . I am really liking the results from 45mm Zeiss F2 lens. Very sharp. The Composition was shot through the window. Caught some reflection from the mirror behind the sculpture bringing the trees from the outside in. Lights from the reflection on the glass is nice and subtle. The second composition Winter In The Park just as impressive. Love the color pallet and the details in the shadows. Final shot River and City captured the light, the tones and texture of the clouds perfectly. The contrast of the lens produced great mid tones, highlights and shadows.
