Light: Nature and Architecture

Here are two photos, focusing on light and the subject is nature and architecture. The first photo is of Lake Michigan in Chicago. Shot on a over cast day, as the sun has risen but is still low on the horizon. The second shot of a mid-century possibly Bauhaus apartment building in the gold coast area of Chicago. The light interacts with the minimal shapes and cast hard light on the side of the building. The light also is interacting with the columns, a great geometric photo with depth.
